Stern SPIKE 2 Speaker Lighting & 5.25″ Adapter Kit

Designed with ultimate modularity in mind, the Apex Standalone Speaker Lighting Conversion System allows you to upgrade your backbox aesthetics and audio performance at your exact pace. Whether you just need to add vibrant, sound-reactive lighting to an existing 5.25-inch speaker setup, or you want to completely overhaul a factory Pro/Premium machine with both expanded lights and larger aftermarket audio, we have the exact hardware configuration you need.

Choose Your Configuration:

• 1. LED Kit Only: Includes our standalone SP617E RGBW Music Pixel Controller (featuring a built-in microphone for sound reactivity, Bluetooth mobile app control, and an RF remote), two high-density LED speaker rings packing 48 total LEDs (24 per ring), a dedicated 12v power pigtail, and all necessary mounting hardware.

• 2. LED Kit + 4″ Adapter Plates: Includes the complete standalone LED Kit, plus two custom 3D-printed 4-inch adapter plates designed to seamlessly mount the lighting rings using your machine’s factory 4″ speakers.

• 3. 5.25″ Adapter Brackets Only: Includes two custom 3D-printed 5.25-inch adapter brackets to cleanly drop high-quality aftermarket 5.25″ speakers into your backbox, complete with all required installation screws. (Does not include LED rings).

• 4. The Full Upgrade (LED Kit + 5.25″ Brackets): The ultimate package. Includes the complete standalone LED Kit, plus two custom 3D-printed 5.25-inch adapter brackets for a total lighting and audio size overhaul.

Engineered to Last: All structural plates and speaker adapter brackets in this kit are precision-crafted in-house using premium, high-temp industrial ABS plastic. Unlike standard hobbyist materials like PLA or PETG, our commercial-grade ABS ensures your mounting hardware is structurally rigid, incredibly impact-resistant, and guaranteed to never warp, sag, or soften under the high internal temperatures of a sealed backbox. This provides a rock-solid, permanent foundation that integrates flawlessly with our custom LED Speaker Diffusers.

⚠️ IMPORTANT POWER NOTE: This standalone system draws power directly from the factory 12v topper power jack (CN1) inside the backbox and assumes this jack is currently open. If you are already running an official Stern topper or another custom modification utilizing that specific plug, please drop us a message before ordering so we can include a dedicated power splitter harness with your kit!
