Engineered specifically for modern pinball architectures, this complete package highlights exactly what is possible when our full suite of custom hardware works in perfect synchronization, driven by proprietary smoothing algorithms to deliver cinematic, rich, and completely fluid frame transitions.

What’s Included in the Box:

Apex Core Base Unit (The Brain): The central controller PCB, power supply, and main harness that flawlessly drives and syncs the entire lighting ecosystem.
Apex Halo Speaker LED Kit: 80 ultra-bright, high-density RGB LEDs (40 per side) natively mounted into the speaker housings. Includes your choice of complimentary game-themed LED lenses (printed at a 100% external perimeter setting for an immaculate structural finish and flawless light diffusion).
Quad Underglow System: An expansive 288-LED system that projects rich, synchronized ambient color directly beneath your cabinet.
Apex Ambient Backlight Kit: Our premium, high-density dual 40-LED tape light setup that casts dynamic, responsive lighting against the wall to extend the game’s atmosphere into your room.

System Requirements & Compatibility:

Spike 3 Machines: 100% compatible with all Spike 3 titles natively (including Star Wars: Fall of the Empire). Plug and play.
Spike 2 Machines: Compatible with select Spike 2 titles (such as Godzilla, The Mandalorian, etc.). IMPORTANT: Your Spike 2 machine must have the official Stern Expression Lighting Kit already installed to use our system. The factory Spike 2 architecture requires the Stern expression daughterboard to provide the dedicated data signal that our hardware pulls from.

Demystifying Spike 2 Compatibility (Pro, Premium, & LE) While Stern traditionally gates their factory Expression Lighting and 5.25″ speaker plates to Limited Edition (LE) models, our system does not require an LE machine. However, because the factory Spike 2 node boards do not output the necessary ambient lighting data stream on their own, your Spike 2 machine (whether it is a Pro, Premium, or LE) MUST have at least one official Stern Expression Lighting Kit (either the cabinet lights or the speaker lights) already installed. Our Apex Core controller utilizes that existing Stern daughterboard to pull the data required to drive our expanded LED arrays.
